One thing I think you could work on is getting the characters' reasoning. A lot of the time here I was surprised by how the characters acted - the excuses they gave for the things they did would not seem real. I can understand why Squall would be hesitant about returning to Garden and Rinoa, but I don't think he gave himself a reason to stay away completely.

A smaller example is that Rinoa would of course be angry to find out that Squall had deliberately stayed away from her, but I don't think that she would be so angry as to leave Esthar and travel all the way to Balamb, then have to be convinced by Quistis to return just to find out why. I think that realistically, she'd just go somewhere else in the palace, or in Esthar city for a while.

Don't pay too much attention to me though, I rarely finish my own stories cause I'm so critical! :) It was a good story, and I enjoyed it.

First of all, you're moving to Boise, as in Boise, Id? I live in Kuna, about 20 minutes away from Boise! One of my friends goes to one of the Boise high schools! That's pretty neat :]

I really liked this one, I mean a lot. It's nice to see that not everything will be perfect because a lot of stories are to fairy tale-ish to me, so this seems much more realistic of how people would approach this type of situation. I can't wait to read the next chapter :]]
