This is great. I love "Alexander and the terrible etc. etc." and the situations are just normal enough to not be totally OOC and absurd. I got the feeling that, after a day like this, Mac would want to take his sword to the Holodeck and rip something to pieces, but he just knows that he'll end up cutting himself a new scar or something.

Awww, poor Mac. But everyone forgets that if he has a *really* bad day, all he has to do is give the order and KABLOOIE! The Excalibur is space dust and everyone is reduced to free-floating atoms...mwahaha...Calhoun rules!
