I loved the footnote! The footnote made it amazing - like a missive from beyond the grave...

I died and went to heaven (no pun intended). This is so awesome- it made me laugh, cry, and want to punch a fictional character (Quigley). But maybe that's just because I'm an overly-emotional sap.
