We are Reviewers Anonymous and we love this for a number of reasons.

We love that this scene is perfectly linear – it could fit within DH and nobody would notice any differences. We also love the ending line: everyone's characters seem to be very detailed and precise.

Though they are exceptionally vivid and true to canon, we would question Wormtail's use of the phrase “No **”. For some reason, it just didn't fit for us. Surely he'd be too terrified of Voldemort to use a vulgarity? Or, if he perhaps thought that such a thing would impress him or would not be heard, could you perhaps insert a sentence mentioning how Wormtail looks at Voldemort after saying it?

Loved it. Brilliant characterisation.

Your characterisation in this was perfect. This isn't something I'd ever considered before, but I suppose it actually could have happened. The only error I noticed is that you mention a few times that Voldemort's eyes are purple, but in the books they're actually red.

Let me begin by saying that when I first read your summary it made me raise a brow, but when I read the story I was pretty much convinced that if anyone could pull off such a conversation with Voldemort then it would be Luna, and I'm quite ready to believe that such a scene could have happened between those two. It's not too weird to think that Voldemort might be fascinated about Luna's character, because it sounds rather incredible that anyone could *not* be fascinated by Luna.

I loved Luna's unexpected replies to Voldemort, e.g. her being sorry for insulting him, thanking him for giving her memories of such a pretty flower. I also loved her depiction of Harry as a flower grown from seeds sowed by Voldemort, and what she said about every death being just as important.

A few other favourite quotes:

'I can see there is a brain in there, but it works in loops and hoops and quirks.' -- very good description of Luna.

'After all, it would be a funny old world if we were all alike.'
- 'If all were like you, I imagine it would.' -- probably not so, because if everyone were like Luna, they wouldn't find each other that funny at all; or perhaps they would..

'So tell me then, little Lunabird - is your lack of fear in face of death courage, stupidity or simply bravery?'
- 'My teachers sometimes say that I have problems with my concentration. Perhaps that might be the reason?' -- that was one of the funniest quotes. :)

Anyway, I loved this story and it once again reminds me why I like Luna as much as I do. Isn't she simply wonderful? :D

Ah. She is so weird. But a weird that I like (or at least the way you wrote her)!

And I definitely liked the Voldemort/Luna interaction.

I don't typically read straight Harry Potter fanfiction (I'm prone to crossovers), but I really like this one.

Oh this is so sweet! I love it! Voldie vs. Luna, and I'm pretty sure Luna won. Luna is perfectly in character. She wouldn't be scared of Voldemort, would she? And the last line with Wormtail really made me laugh! This is a favorite!

I'm not so sure about Voldemort's characterization, seeing as to Rowling makes him out to be an utterly irreparable being of walking evil and sin. (cough)
But you really made my Luna. I loved her arguments. And this ended very nicely.

This story is great, not only have you portrayed a really good Luna but you also have written a really good Voldemort and a believable Peter too.

Hah. So it's you again, author. Good job with this one. Short, vivid, and the characters are in character. Strange how Voldie didn't kill Luna.

Nice touch with Wormtail asking that question at the end.

God, I love Luna Lovegood. Excellent dialogue between the two.
