I have absolutely no sympathy for Lois in this story. She knew who she was marrying. He was not cheating on her, he was saving the world. And deep inside I feel that she used "don't want to see you dying again" as an excuse.
Well, I hope she unerstands what she had lost after Superman and Diana become lovers. And let it haunt her until the end of the life!

I like this version of Superman during the time Kara was on Themyscira. I liked the fact that Lois can't take it anymore and wants a divorce. I've always been up in the air with Lois as the "ONE" for Clark. Basically it depends on who writs her. Even then I'm like she's ok. Diana I always thought was a better match for by a long shot.

I hope you do a sequel to this story. Maybe get a comments from Kara, Kon-El, the Kents, even Bruce. See what happens between Diana and Clark.

Two places you used 'bear' instead of 'beer', one where you used 'pin' instead of 'pen'. Spellcheck, while useful, is not a replacement for proper editing. (Also, because it's the titile, it should be 'When Gods Fall'.) Should take you two minutes to correct and repost.

As for the story itself, there are things that show some promise, but do NOT forget Ma and Pa Kent. What more natural thing is there for a man to do than to turn to his parents during a time of crisis?
