katelovespony20 2008-02-23 ch 5,	abuseI'm going to start off by saying I have been reading every single chapter of this so far, and am enjoying every chapter. I havent reviewed yet because I was waiting for the right time too, and after reading this chapter, I thought now was the time. Your characters, first of all, never go out of character, which is so important. You have a set plot, and some of your statements, conflicts, and overall plot is unexpected, which is good. Most stories are ridiculously predictable, however, your's is perfect. You have all the right elements. This chapter, agreeing with you, is the favourite so far. I absolutely love it. I love the atmosphere authors get into when writing chapters that involve dances. Especially in the POV of Pony, that is the best I think. It always leads up to something. At the very end, I also didn't expect that because I was too concentrated on the characters, you portray them so well, to a tee. I am so excited to read on, and thank you so much for this story! I really really enjoy it. =]

I'mm always so amazed when I read a new chapter, because it reminds me of how...profound your stories always are, especially this one. There's just so much hidden from us about Aunt Lily even though Pony and the boys live with her every day and Pony describes his confusion and curiousity about so well. I wonder if there is any possiblity of knowing Aunt Lily at all or if she will forever remain an enigma. Anyway, when you get the time, I hope to see a brand-new chapter. It's tough being addicted to something so talented. @~BookRose~@
mars on fire 2008-02-14 ch 12,	abuseI really love this chapter - you're doing a fabulous job with Ponyboy's voice, he's so chatty and conversational, it really reminds me of the book. I also love all these details about Aunt Lily - specifically that Pony doesn't know her. I wonder if she's treating it like a business transaction so she doesn't get attached to them? I LOVE the fact she wasn't bowled over my Two-Bit lol. I can see him expecting to be all charming and cute and having Aunt Lily falling at his feet, but she has his number and I like that it gets to him. The sense that things are changing is really cool ... I can feel it, too.

xocrazililkelox 2008-02-13 ch 12,	abuseAnother great installment,you sort of feel bad for Ponyboy in this chapter because of all the changes he's been going through.I figured he would have grown up a little since he has been to the boy's home but he is still a little kid.But he did use his head when he was angry with Aunt Lilly and didn't cuss her out.I have a little bit of a dis like for Aunt Lilly with how she intracted with poor Two-Bit but I have a feeling there is a past with why she always wears black(a sign of mourning. and why she is so cold and hard.I could see Ponyboy comparing Aunt Lilly to Darry for some reason.I hope you update soon pretty please?

And the line about Pony skipping the Mother's Day thing the year before made me so sad for him. I can only imagine how hard that must be. Can't wait for more!

BookRose 2008-01-02 ch 11,	abuseWhoo-hoo! This story's finally updated! And so quickly too! A two for one. Anyway, I'm so glad that Pony's out of the home, that place isn't fit for an orphan rat. Anyway, Miss Meriwether's aunt is a hoot! She's so imperious, like royalty. And never runs out of energy either obviously. Pony was right saying she's like a rapier blade. I hope that Darry and Sara do end up being together. Darry likes her already although he'd never admit it...yet. I think he's too ** himself, he'd be a wonderful husband. I mean he's already a good father to his brothers and what happened to Pony was NOT HIS FAULT! I love how there are so many angles to this story and the depth in it is staggering, much like it was in the Outsider's book. So I hope you update soon cause I just can't wait! @~BookRose~@

xocrazililkelox 2007-12-30 ch 11,	abuseAnother great installmet I'm glad your still working on this chapter I like Aunt Lily but I don't think Darry will feel the same way since he is the one who usually gives oders if Darry wasn't so repectful I could see them butting heads alot.Because they have almost the same personaitls their both a force not to be recokned with.I can't wait to see her reactions to Steve and espically Two-Bit poor guys. Sodapop would probably charm her.Anyway I hope you update soon pretty please? Have and Happy and safe NewYears.
mars on fire 2007-12-29 ch 11,	abuse"I felt like I should bow or something, but I didn’t know how, so I sort of stuck out my hand and mumbled, “How do you do?”" LOL - I love these little comments Pony has, they're so kid-like and it reminds me a lot of how he talks in the book sometimes. I love Aunt Lily. I cannot WAIT to see how Aunt Lily and Two-Bit get along. It's characters like these that make me wish Dallas was alive in this fic lol. Wouldn't that be awesome? lol. I can't wait for more.
