I hope you're one of those authors who don't mind some negative criticism, because I just don't like this fic.

First off, the character of Lilly. Okay, there's no nicer way to put it, she's a Mary Sue. Tragic backstory, everyone good loves her by the end, amazingly talented, she falls in love with a character the author likes...you see where I'm going with this? Not only that, but I feel she's a little out-of-place in the Looney Tunes/Duck Dodgers-verse. Her tragic backstory seems a bit too dramatic for the tone of either the original shorts or the TV show (come to think of it, I think, that kind of backstory would be parodied more often than it would be played straight in either one). In fact, let's be honest, Lilly isn't very funny, as her attempts at being funny fall kind of flat, which is kind of weird for a fic taking place in the cartoon universe that gave us the funniest cartoon shorts of all time.

Now that I'm done with that, here's another point that bothers me - the characterization of Marvin. Now, granted, I just got into Duck Dodgers by watching episodes on streaming video sites, but Marvin doesn't seem the type to act like this when it comes to romance. You have him acting like a shy preteen boy trying to ask a girl to the dance. Watch any episode of Duck Dodgers, or any Looney Tunes short with Marvin in it, then compare that to the way you wrote him.

There's also some minor spelling errors. Run this through a word processing program first (like Microsoft Word), and spell check it. After that, proofread it again, because even spell check can be wrong.

Sorry that review ended up a little long, but I just had to say it. Keep these tips in mind for any future fanfiction you write, or even original fiction.

Hiya! It's me again! I have a question & to tell you: I'm reading it again for the FOURTH time! Ok, my question is... well, I've wondered for awhile since I read this, if this were a movie, would Lilly be realistic in the real world like in an adult movie or, would she be like a cartoon? And, I've wanted to say this on chapter 9 for a long time:

When Lilly said "This just screams SERIES!", I totally agree! It does scream series! And, you know what else it screams? It screams THE MOST FABULOUS FAN FIC EVER! I WANT TO SEE IT ON TV OR DVD! I may have told you that before, but, I can't stop telling you how awesome it is! It makes me feel so fuzzy inside when I really think about them!

Also, I also wanted to say that I was very surprised when you said you got to go to California on the Warner Brothers Tour! I want to go so bad! I want X-2 merchandise, too & for the record, I never noticed you said that you've wanted to write it for a year! You must have had a lot of thinking time to make it so INCREDIBLE! And, I also LOVE Marvin/X-2!

Enough said for now. I might save my other reviews for the next time I read this whole story for the fifth time!

I've always loved this chapter! I'm going to read the last one, which is, OF COURSE, my FAVORITE! Although, it goes very well with the rest of the movie to make it one SPECTACULAR movie!

I love that song!! I've decided that I'm going to do another Season 1 episode of Marvin & Lilly for my next fic & THEN my Y/DD Fan Fic! I've been dying to do it! I may need a better name, though. Maybe you can help? I'm thinking maybe... well, now, I can't remember... tee hee! Sorry! I'll try & rememeber in ym next fic that Lilly doesn't say "Tee hee". ^-^ So, I have one more question... when do you think you'll finish "Lilly's Fame" & maybe start another fan fic? Plot: Marvin is kidknapped in the middle of the night by evil beetles. He wakes up to find himself in a cage & later, he ends up almost killed by scorpions. Lilly saves him just in time, only to splatter more goo on him & Dr. Woe. Little do Marvin & Lilly know, that the goo is poisonous to Martians. It starts to appear as if to boil & starts burning. Lilly manages to get it off & they take it to the ship in a jar for experimenting. The next night, it emerges to a giant goo beetle. Oh GREAT! MORE BUGS! ^^

I haven't thought of... quite how they stop it, because, it is invincible to gun shots. Not sure yet. Maybe heat. Yeah, that's good. So, what do you think? Any ideas? You can take you're time answering this so you can think of one before you answer me. Thanks! I hope you like long reviews!

Wow, this is a late review, but I just stumbled upon your story. I have to say that I love how you incorporated both Wicked (so, so much love for that! One of my favorite musicals!) and even Phantom of the Opera into the story! I also really enjoy your writing style :) Please keep writing, I am excited to read more about the adventures these two will go through!
