SpicyRoses 2009-06-30 . chapter 1This is one of those poems/fanfics I'm so glad to find. This poem IS me when it comes to Narnia, and I think everyone, who's a fan. Thanks for posting it! ;]

 MilkMustache 2008-12-13 . chapter 1I love this.
Its beautifully written.
its exactly how I feel whenever I read the books, watch the movies, hear anything related and whenever I just think about Narnia. |
Mercury Gray 2008-06-05 . chapter 1Nice! There's a lot of good things going on in this poem, a lot of good lines, the 'at nights' to be specific, but I think sometimes the messages in your repetitive lines after that gets sort of overshadowed by the fact that the beginning is used over and over again. The poem might be more effective if you simply were to say something like
At night I dream.
I dream of a land of rolling grass,
of the Stone Table cracked in two
I dream of my home from which I am held.
[and I think you need another thought here, something about the nature of the home from which you're being held?]
Anyway, that's just one example. Still, a very good write as is. Nice work. |

TastyAsItGets 2007-04-29 . chapter 1I came across this at Narnia Fan Fiction Revolution! I'm not much of a poem person (or a Christian), but this is really sweet! I so wish it was real too...GAH! |
Pens or Buttons 2007-04-22 . chapter 1Beautiful...I am a fellow Christian as well, and have thought the same things. You see that's what's so great about the story. It's written about a place that we could barely ever dream of and yet, it did happen. It happened on this Earth 20 years ago and that is a good reason to lift your chin up and be proud that you are a King or Queen of Narnia; that all humans are the Kings and Queens of the world. God gave us that gift and the hope for tommorow to be a brighter day can keep us going throughout the ages. He's already given you hope. You just have to climb on and be completely blown away. |
Dearheart 2007-04-21 . chapter 1Wow...the timing is obviously from God. I just finished writing a new story called A Message. It's basically a letter from Aslan to you; I think you should read it. I wrote almost right after you wrote this poem; perhaps it really is Aslan's response to what you wrote!
Great poem; I know exactly how you feel. May "Aslan keep you in His mighty paws". |
elecktrum 2007-04-20 . chapter 1Very pretty. What I find I like most about it is that anyone - be they a character from the Narniad or someone that loves the stories dearly - could be the speaker. |
 vrangr 2007-04-20 . chapter 1very poetic! (in a good way of course!) :) |
