aw...I feel sorry for that metroid. he/she got blown to organic shreds later in this game. Which was Super metroid, correct me if im wrong. BTW great story!

Awesome! I loved the characterization and the fact that this isn't another freakish SamusXRidley fic.

I came back to read this again after I was reviewing my reviews in "The Plight of Samus Aran" I'm still find myself amazed at the greatness of this story. I'm looking forward to another installment of your metroid short stories. I loved this one and "Hard of Hearts" Also...you mentioned in this one about past battles or something, samus being 0-0. Are you referring to previous games or did you have plans for another story to go with this? Just wondering.

Wow this is great! What a great character you've made for Ridley! And with Samus as well. She seems quite justice-bent, which suits her! :)

Perfect. You should definitely write more stories of Samus' encounters, with or without Ridley. Perhaps the cavern fight deep down in the heart of the planet. And now, you can write one about the disovery of Ridley's ressurection in Metroid Prime and that battle, wherever it may be.

I'm glad to see Ridley in a more villainous way and pose a threat, rather than the spineless weakling he was portrayed as in the game(Easiest boss I ever fought in Super Metroid, not counting Draygon when you use the grappling-beam-in-the-blown-up-wall-gun trick on him).
