I really hope Ulquiorra is really like this. I would be so mad if he wasn't because then he would have to get killed by someone on the "good" side and I would be very sad because I had so much faith in Ulquiorra that he would crack sometime and end up helping the shinigami. I half think that he'll get paired up with Inoue. XD Good work! It was totally in character and I can totally see this happening! In fact, I really want it to happen.

Well, technically, as Kubo Tite said, hollows should have lost their "heart" when the chain of fate was ripped/fell from their chest... that should apply to arrancars as well. In fact, they have a hole somewhere on their body.

But then again, who knows? It's obvious they can feel something, even if - maybe - only "bad emotions". And your fic is very well-written, fluent, with a rich choice of words and thoughts. Compliments!
