I agree with your decision to cut this from NSSAA, because it would have totally thrown off the flow and mood of the story, but this piece is nevertheless well-written, in-character, and works quite well as a one-shot about Sayu's death. I enjoyed it very much. Please update NSSAA soon!

Yes, I see how this is very out of canon. But it's understandably OOC for Light-- I like his weird reaction to Sayu's death though, it seemed like how he might be in that situation. Still, for sort of an AU thing it's nice. And also I read through all the chapters in NSSAA today and missed it already...
