This is a wonderful character study. That last sentence is like a punch in the gut.

This story just broke my heart. I want to cry for all of Kasanoda's lost hopes there.

Lovely writing. It totally contrasts the lively happy atmosphere of the Ouran Host Club with a sad, dark reality. Loved it.

Awesome. It's shocking the way this contrasts with the light, humorous world of Ouran, but in the end the reality of it feels right. Even the small details are heart wrenching. Thanks for writing.

Wow. That was incredible. I love your characterization of Kasanoda and Tetsuya (whom I like but no one ever writes), and the interaction with the rest of the host club was good. I would encourage you to expand the epilogue, though, it seems too abrupt. I think it would sound better in the past tense too, and would sound more final and ending like, if that makes sense. Thank you so much for an exceptional fic.

This was... wow. I'd always adored Kasanoda, and while it's rather depressing to think of this happening to him, he really did seem too good-hearted to be a yakuza. This was brilliant, and sad all at the same time.

As much as I liked the rest of the Host Club, the episodes with Kasanoda were always my favorite.

I adore it. I love Ouran, but I sometimes couldn't get into the series because the characters themselves were so unrealistic. They were all children - escapists - and delusional.
Kasanoda is a raw, heart-breaking character as you've written him. I worship ever so much. I especially pet that last line about veterinary school.

Wow. What a lovely, poignant story. I'm glad more people are writing Kasanoda fiction-- he was one of my favorite characters in the show, and you have done him justice here. I love the tragic tale of his life, and how very resigned he was to it. For what else was there for him? Ouran was a place for all of them to pretend and escape, and I think that this piece illustrates this fact for Kasanoda-kun very well. Wonderful job.

That was very, very well written. And extremely sad, too. However, why is it a Kyouya/Haruhi? (I was looking for this pairing when I stumbled upon this jewel, and man, am I happy.) Now there's a cathegory for Kasanoda-kun.

Oh, god. This was... pretty much everything I ever wanted from Ouran fic. The fourth section just about killed me. Very, very nicely done. I love the link to the first section at the end of the fifth.
