Awesome story...I love that it's in character,and describes in more detail things that actually happened in the anime/manga...
I've never understood why people pair Ichigo up with Rukia,it's always seemed pretty clear to me that they're just friends (and apparently,even the creator of the manga said that while they're close,it's not a romantic relationship either)..Meanwhile Renji is very clearly in love with Rukia,and it's so obvious he means alot to her as well...

Great job, well written.

I absolutely loved it. You explored their relationshp in such an interesting manner. The whole narration has this Ichigo-ness to it that, while showing a much deeper picture of Renji and Rukia's relationship, also showed how Ichigo changed over the entire fiasco.

The whole knight-in-shining armour parallel was brilliant too. Thanks for sharing this wonderful fic! ^^

Now, I'm a die-hard ichiruki fan but since I also love Renji, I can completely appreciate the greatness of this fic. I especially love all the fairytale metaphores and how you managed to make Renji the prince charming of the story even though Ichigo is the "hero".

Renji/Rukia forever

Beautiful. As I watched the show/read the manga, I could only ever see Ichigo and Rukia as loyal friends and allies - nothing more. And I couldn't understand why, until Renji came on the scene. And then I knew why there was no spark between Ichigo and Rukia - they are both meant for other people. :)

Watching the scene up on the Soukyoku, I always giggle a bit at Ichigo-as-matchmaker. He clearly knows what's what, there, and it's lovely to see Ichigo and Renji working together to guard Rukia's safety, and her heart.

Awesome job! I really enjoyed the fairy tale analogies and another good RenRuki.

"Ichigo would die for her, but he wouldn’t die without her." I liked that line in particular a lot. Again, awesome job!
