Liked this a lot. Blood Ties has only just finished here in the UK so I am catching up with the stories. Heart of Fire is a fantastic episode and it is shame more wasn't made of the aftermath on screen. Thanks for this, it fills a void!

Really enjoyed this fic. Just watched Heart of Fire only moments ago, thanks to my Canadian coheart who got me knee-deep into Blood Ties. For whatever reason, we don't get it on our Lifetime network affiliate here in Texas, but I'm so glad I've been introduced to it now.

You really did the end of that episode justice. It ended so abruptly and after so much mental and physical whump to Henry. There was precious little closure for us to cling to.

I weighted the arguments between reading spoilers and going ahead and reading your story, your story won. I've only seen six episodes so far. I read a little background on the episode I'm spoiling, and then went ahead with your story, and wow, I love your story. This is what I love best about fanfic, writers can delve more into the emotions and after effects of episodes that the tv writers don't have time to go into on screen.

I'm so glad the author decided to take on "Blood Ties" after writing "Pirates" fiction. The characters are excellent (although Mike is a little sinister) and the stories are just great.

The only thing still needed is more of the same...

Whoo. Spot on. The dialogue, the interactions between the characters, even the sexual tension between Vicki and Henry...all incredibly accurate to the show. Even the way the characters moved felt so real and accurate. I am really impressed and would love to read more of you fiction. Bravo. (Brava?) Cheers!
