I don't think Itachi is insane, he's just...different. XP
My friend said that Itachi is strange since he killed his clan and yet he avoids fights and doesn't seem very blood thirsty at all unlike Sasuke.
Makes you think, doesn't it? he also has no remorse for killing his clan, so that kinda makes him a monster doesn't it?
hmm... interesting. It kinda makes me wonder if he actually did kill his clan of his own free will >.< I'm getting a headache!

Wow! The last chapter's actually make my toes curled! Definitely one of the best ItaNaru one-shots collection and I've read A LOT. Keep them coming XD
