Max certainly reminds me of Kai Allard-Liao, beating himself up for what happened around him in battle. Well, he's got a good friend in Sheila, all right! It's great that they can support each other in the upcoming battles. Twycross awaits.

Poor Sheila's having a rough time, but at least keeping her MechWarrior status gives her a chance to do *something*, even in a state of dishonor. Nice to see her put Mary Scott in her place, too!

The line "Too many faces were not present, having been left behind in hastily dug graves on Persistence, Rasalhague, and Blackjack." was particularly good. A lot said in just one sentence!

You're really good at writing court scenes, Sentinel! Great stuff.

Excellent court scene, with the tricky legal and personal arguments being used here. Sheila certainly deserves better than this. Let's hope she gets cleared piece-meal!

Sacrifices are a part of war, and that Awesome pilot is doing a great thing, buying his allies time with his life. More 'mech goodness!

The action is fast-paced but thorough, and quite well done. Now there's even a Mad Cat out here, and that doesn't bode well for Sheila and the others.

This is a great start to your sequel. The action in this chapter is really intense and well-written. The artillery adds some variety to things. I think a lot of people tend to forget about that aspect, especially when it comes to the Clans.

Hm, A Few Good Men in the 31st Century. Very nice description of a court martial. It brings fresh idea to this forum. I won't say "keep it coming" because I'd rather see these guys fighting the Clans rather than bickering in the courtroom. But nice work on the idea.
