But, I'm done now, so I should be able to catch up in a timely fashion. I need to say that I loved this. Excellent way of trying up some loose ends, but leaving it just open enough for us readers to have our imaginations run away with us. The two Shakespeare poems were quite a nice touch as well. I really do feel as though they really are a bad romance novel; one that does not want to end any time soon. I congratulate you on your achievements.

If I were her I would have wanted to hear his side as well, just so I could have a complete picture. I love seeing how this entire ordeal is really tearing at them. It's definitely not something that can be easily fixed. I congratulate you on pulling in a whole range of emotions.
notesofwimsey 2007-04-28 ch 2,	abuseYou know how I'm always saying, "Slow down"? Re-read the first part of this about Spencer and you'll see why. It was perfect; taking the reader deeper and deeper into his emotions without 'reporting' them, just letting them develop around him. You KNOW this character, and you exposed him beautifully. Now contrast that with the passage between Susan and Reid. It's a good scene, but compared to the first part of the chapter, it feels light and rushed. The chapter moved well - looking forward to the next one!

I'm usually quite wary of original characters, but as with Karen I do like Susan--and like how you had her being protective of JJ, but coming around to sympathize with Reid as well. Well done, looking forward to where this fic goes!

I think she should give him gifts that reflect his personality, as well as her love for him. But then, he might think she was trying to buy him off... What to do...what to do?
