That was without a doubt, brilliant!! I suspected MMAD throught the duration, but this was just spectacular!! :D
To make it more lovely, I actually checked the fifth book to see if Dumbledore actually said, "I promise..." :D I thought it was so cute the way that you twisted it, especially with the 'hint of tenderness' when he asked if she was okay. Now THIS is what should have been explained properly in the books! I especially love this part in the books... Having Dumbledore triumph over Dolores is quite heartening, (though in the movies it wasn't as magical... Minerva was not present is seems...). Anyways, I loved this, and this is definitely going on my favorites... =]
