I don't know what you mean by it being "not as good". I loved it! I wanted to go in and hug Lucas muself! (Then again I always do, but that's a completely different subject...LOL). This was great!

loved it, by far my fav. seaquest story and I am a little partical because I write for 2047. but it almost made me cry. when you can do that with a story you know it's a good plot.

It's a good beginning, but there needs to be more. The ending is a bit rushed...he's over Lawrence's death in less than two days? There are also a lot of spelling and grammatical errors, getting someone to proofread or letting the piece sit a day or two and going back over it would probably eliminate a lot of basic mistakes.
