I'm glad you cleared that up. This was an action packed chapter, there are just a few things you could change to keep it firmly in the Regency era: I doubt the Ton would be terribly interested in an odious Kent Parson and a Country Miss, Darcy is incredibly unlikely to call Miss Bingly 'Caroline'- unless you're next going to tell us that they're engaged, and Elizabeth saying 'like perhaps' drew my attention when I should have been concentrating on the story.
Other than that, this looks good, thanks for updating.
