i actually flinched as i read setsuna's self-mutilation, due to both the physical and emotional pain. the way you can dissect the characters and delve into their heart is incredible, even for neglected side-characters like akira in your other fic. the only flaw in your writing, and even that is subjective, is that your sentences are lo-ng. sometimes i need to read a line a few times, consciously breaking it up, before i get the entire meaning; i have no idea how much you can shorten them though, seeing how i have the same (bad?) habit and shortening my sentences always seem to change the depth of the words.

I hate that I can't think of anything to say other than I really really like this. It was beautiful and very sad, with a happy ending -perfect.

At Houndemon's suggestion, I went back and read back and forth between the two of them as well, and even if it wasn't intentional, you did an incredible job making these two fics seem as if they were written as companions (which they may have been). It was extremely well done, if it was intentional, and if you had no idea you were doing it (or we're completely wrong) it seems beautifully natural.

so I know I already reviewed this, but I was reading this one and "As Crows Fly" again, alternating between the two with each section, finding new meaning in the melding of the two, and I was struck, once again by the beauty of it. I wanted to thank you for that.

This one and As Crows Fly are well matched. You have an unique way of writing, one I've never seen before, that gets me both in the gut and in the heart. I'll keep hoping for more.

Not as fluffy, nor quite as hard-edged as the others, this one was simply a really great look at Secchan's character. With a rather sweet ending, something like the herald of a coming storm. Things have broken down, oaths frayed as you said, and all that feels like it will amount to a rather explosive next morning, with repurcusions that will be felt for quite a while.
