Personally, dark types are some of my favorite pokemon, therefore, I don't fear OR hate them. But I get where you're coming from here, and I admit, it seems plausible that people would be afraid of dark types, because darkness often represents the unknown, and a lot of people are afraid of the unknown. Great job :)

I've never gotten the Dark-type stereotype. For instance, I'm what you might call a Sneasel fnatic, and even the freakin' POKEDEX says that they're "vicious" and crap. Ugh. .

I really like this one. I REALLY don't get why people think dark pokemon are evil, they are freaking awesome, though strangely enough I don't own tons of them. The reason I like them is because they ARE free and they ARE powerful and they ARE the essence of what we fear: darkness. Or rather, what darkness represents, the unknown. And now I'm trying to figure out why I like your poetry when I'm not a big poetry fan. Oh well, good poem.

Well. Wow. Sobering, as always. Which Pokemon was that about, BTW? I think it was one of the dark dogs, or maybe an Absol. Maybe even a Sneasel. In which case, how dare the person in this fic badmouth Sneasel! Or Absol for that matter.

Those poor dark-types, being sterotyped all the time. And not just in the games - there are endless pages on the internet written by parents who think Pokémon is the work of Satan and how Houndoom is obviously evil and all that.

Anyway, the was this was laid out made it really effective, I especially liked the "I'm better Stronger Faster" bit.

One thing - you could put a break between the end and the author's notes, since there is nothing to define the poem from the A/N. Of course, it is ovious, but it ruins the flow at the end.

I love this. (By the way, Dark-types are called Evil-types in Japan. The American company changed it to "Dark" because having an "Evil-type Pokemon" wouldn't go over very well in America).

Anyway, I think it's swell as anything that you wrote this. I don't know why Trainers seem to hate Evil-types; those Pokemon aren't really evil. Yamikurasu (Murkrow) is my favorite Pokemon, and it's an Evil-type, so I like to think that this story is from the point of view of a Yamikurasu.

Like I said, I love this.

I've always wondered, why do people think Umbreon is evil? Or any dark Pokemon for that matter? It's not like they ARE evil, they might LOOK it, but aren't. It's messed up. I mean, yeah, they can kill you, but so can almost every other Pokemon...It's stupid. And I've been rambling...KEEP WRITING!
