well that's going on the favorites list. I agree that this would have been a cool longer story but it also would have ruined the wonderful format you've got going here. I love that it's so tightly written. Everything feels neat and tidy and the ending was great. Angst was surprisingly absent from this fic and for the first time ever I think I appreciated that. It didn't need it to pull the reader in. Very impressive work!

This story is great because it's succinct. You were able to show a lot in under 30 words-- Rogue's feelings regarding her loss of power, the growing affection between her and Gambit and the slow dissolution of her relationship with Bobby. Most importantly, you showed a strong Rogue who can be vulnerable but actually picks herself up and does something about it.

I like it. You did a very good job writing it. I like the third person party to the events that are almost a first person perspective. It's really cool. Really ironic that that would happen to Rogue too. The story of her life, unfortunately.

well, hey there! been a while since i've seen some x-men fics from you, so this pleased me. :) and of course, i loved the fic itself! great to see a post-cure rogue dealing with the consequences of her decision, her powers coming back, AND a certain cajun. you crammed everything i wanted into one story, and you did it in a way that was believable and interesting and great, so gold stars for you. i especially liked rogue's regret/jealousy about not having powers anymore... it seems it would play out like that.
so yes. the point is, nice job.
