When the bad guy appears, it totally reminded me of that movie Romancing the Stone, when the opening scene is from a romance novel and the hero rescues the girl and they ride into the sunset. I KNEW someone was dreaming, and it cracked me up. But Nick and Mandy would make an excellent couple! I think you've found "your" ship and should create some more stories for us (hint, hint)!
