Uwa! That was so cute! A most untraditional fairy tale for a most unconventional pairing. I think NekoxHaru is by far my favorite pairing. _ It's so crack-ish, and yet entirely plausible.

"The princess Nekozawa and his knight on shining armor, the girl known as Haruhi. It was a fairytale just esoteric enough to come true." Ha, poor Neko-chan. Even after his valiant rescue, he still ends up being the princess (Though that status seems oddly fitting for their relationship, since Haruhi isn't exactly the Damsel in Distress type). Of course, I'm not complaining. I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

It was really good! I quite liked it. But I was wondering...does Nekozawa-kun know that Haruhi is a girl?

Oh so sweet...I especially loved your final few paragraphs...the wrestling with somethin within the shadows...a foreign exchange student?

The first thing I noticed was this, "creatures-of-the-light". Clever allusion to The Wallflower, another one of my all-time favorite manga and animes. Sunako kicks so much ass.

-laughs- Pretty witty and funny. I liked the analogy to Tamaki there. Nekozawa do look like Tamai, so I guess it's only "logical" to say that he might act like his counterpart occasionally too.

I'm starting to grasp and fully understand the way you write: mini plotlines and character interactions. Not unpleasant, definitely not. The opposite, in fact. I like the infrequent funny here and there. :]

But Nekozawa was a bit out-of-character. It's unfortunate that we don't see a lot of him in the manga. Yet, from what I can extrapolate from it, his canon personality and the one in this fic don't quite match up. He seems too fluffy. -cringes at the fluff- Maybe it's just because I don't like fluff...

Anyway, good job. Love the length and subject. Haruhi/Nekozawa needs more love around here!

I almost forgot...why do you always say "please butcher" at the end of your author's note? There's really nothing to butcher.

I like how the fairy tale ties it all together, and the likening of Nekozawa to Tamaki xD I don't suppose you'd consider a follow-up, when Nekozawa's introduced to the rest of the Host Club as Haruhi's boyfriend?

I have never read a Nekozawa x Haruhi fic before, neither had I been interested to before. However, I am so glad I decided to read this one. Brilliantly written!
