It captures their relationship as a could be for them. Their relationship may not really be seen exactly like this in the manga, but its not so far fetched or OC to be deemed unlikely. It has enough depth to be the true nature of themselves thats hidden and left untouched in the manga. A definite possibilty. Thats why I love this couple so much. No drama, not overly emotional, and too affectionate. Just simple, understanding, and sweet.
