I'm definitely looking forward to what appears to be the upcoming conclusion!

In particular, in this part, I like how Sesshoumaru handles things, and his reactions to both Miroku and Inuyasha. (And the comment about also wanting to kill Kouga made me grin.) The analysis of their weaknesses, including his own, was excellent, and I look forward to seeing what he comes up with!

this chapter was certainly entertaining, Sesshomaru wanting to kill off koga was the greatest effect!

I love how smart Miroku is. Clown and pervert that he may be at times, he really does have a lot of wisdom. It's really nice to read a story where he's portrayed that way.

I can't wait to see how the plan comes together when they finally face Naraku.

Aw!! You updated and certaintly did not disappoint. This chapter was absolutely brillant and aptly named, certainly a worthy culmination of the previous chapters. And I know I don't have to tell you how much I adore your Sesshomaru, but I will anyway. His thoughts and contemplations are spot on! Kouga, poor Kouga, so misguided but endearing, and certainly not stupid since he picked up on the interaction between Sesshomaru and Kagome. Well, now, what's next? A battle? A victory? A wish? A confession of admiration, respect? Of true friendship...love?

My...I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the rest!

And yay for Kouga! I really do think that people can do a lot more with Kouga and Sesshoumaru's interactions within the fandom, but few seem to address the issue. I loved the way you wrote protective!Sesshoumaru and oblivious!Kouga. I liked that he was actually offended that they thought he'd hurt a little girl. I thought it was quite awesome, too, that Inuyasha was pretty much giving Kouga quite terse/angry advise on how to NOT piss his older brother off. XD Excellent. It's nice to see Inuyasha as the mediator, for once. :3

"A soft huff from across the campfire stood as Sesshoumaru’s contribution." An excellent, in character description.

“You have been following the miko’s senses; you did not ask about mine.” XD Awesome. And in-character.

“Tch. And you’re giving me a hard time because I’m walking into a trap?” Sadly, very true. XD

"Sesshoumaru’s nose is sharper than any wolf’s" Snap. :3 I like that he's implying that Sesshoumaru is better than Kouga (and he IS, but I like that Inuyasha feels comfortable enough admitting this in front of his brother).

"while you’re taking your sweet time leading women and children into danger..." Also snap. And Kouga does have a point.

I think it's in-character for Sesshoumaru to be angry about the amount of disparate talking/arguing there is going on. Being the quiet type, it makes sense that he loathes unnecessary words.

"Unless someone offers direction, we will get nowhere." I LOVE that Sesshoumaru is the one who takes this initiative... and scaring the crap out of everyone for raising his voice, even if it was only one word. :3 Excellent. "“Facts—an orderly accounting." Neat! :3 I love that he's acting like a warlord. Very good.

"“You are human.” / “It is as you say,” the monk replied gravely." A nice exchange. :3 I do love the interactions between Miroku and Sesshoumaru as you write them. :3 I liked their discussion on why the jewel doesn't affect Kagome. I'd never thought of it like that before!

I like that Sesshoumaru acknowledges and agrees with Inuyasha's assertion that he is nothing like Naraku... despite the fact that they are both technically hanyou.

I love Sesshoumaru's explanation/justification: “I am attempting to devise a plan that combines all our strengths. I am not using the miko; I am utilizing her. She fights for and with her pack, as is her right.” He makes an interesting distinction! I do love semantics. :3 I also like how Sesshoumaru is blunt when he lists all of their weaknesses. I think that it's quite in-character for him to have made note of them before. XD

I do love the character growth you show in this chapter - how Sesshoumaru is capable of praising his brother mildly, how Inuyasha can modify his reactions and accept that he might not be the one to make the killing blow, if it's all for the greater good...

"Rin-chan is afraid of them, and when she is frightened, Jaken-sama tends to overreact." Aww, Jaken... :3 I love it when he's concerned about his charge.

"“Fuck. Do not ask me to make that kind of choice, Sesshoumaru.” / “I will endeavor to plan accordingly." XDD

I also like that they force Sesshoumaru to acknowledge weaknesses related to himself. :3 I think it's very in-character that he still wants to kill Kouga. :3

"Inuyasha might lack training, finesse, and even a plan, but he was peerless when fighting to protect the miko." XD Trufax.

"I chastised Inuyasha for always leaping to the miko’s aid, only to give my word that I will personally ensure her survival." I like that he didn't realize this until long after he made the promise. XD And huzzah for Sesshoumaru being the leader! :D

I also loved the conclusion at the end of this chapter. :3 EXCELLENT. I look forward to reading about the final battle! :D Keep up the good work!
