I'm such a bad reader, I haven't written youa review in ages. Well, just wanted to say that I really enjoyed Orochimaru's analysis of Sasuke adn Naruto's relation ship. So many Sasuke x SOmeone-Other-Than-Naruto fics just disregard Naruto completely or pair him up with Sakura or Hinata and then disregard him completely. I think that despite Orochimaru's obvious anger what he wrote was beautiful and if he actually read his own text he'd realise this as well.

Oh, poor Shizune:( but at the same time, I found the mention of the Swine flu hilarious. Not even Konoha is safeXD

and oh, how I laughed at Sasuke. I need to draw a pic of him with no hair<3

On the recommendation of my friend Nanaki Lioness I checked this out. And my word am I glad I did. I started at 6am and it is now quarter to two in the morning. I've pretty much had my eyes glued to the laptop! The only break I've had was a quick nap at lunch time, and a short while to go check out the side story about Sasori stealing the banana truck. Which was nothing short of amazing.

I genuinely have no idea where to begin with all the things I love about this story.

I think I'll start with how you've tackled pairings in this. I really like how you've put some "popular" pairings in there, but managed to mix it with a few canon pairings and completely unconventional and original pairings. You've really captured the incestuous-ness of work environments as well, with all the complications and love triangles in these relationships.

Your Akatsuki are fantastic. I fell in love with them all over again. Deidara is the perfect mad drugged up artist, I love the description of his house. Of course Sasori as his permanently smoking partner in crime is wonderful, I love how you've balanced their bickering and mental antics too. Pairing up Sasori and Sai is bloody genius by the way, I was crying laughing when he just came out with the "I really want to fuck you line." I adore your Kakuzu too, seeing him as a malicious little prankster never ceased to entertain.

In fact the way you've captured every character is awesome, and I'm really impressed at how you've managed to include so many of the characters without confusing things too much. My only complaint is that we don't see a lot of Juugo, but considering he's agoraphobic it makes sense. I thought you may have included him a little more when Kimimaro made his return, but it's no loss that you didn't.

Itachi is fantastic as the neurotic elder brother. I'm glad to see the hints we'll be seeing a bit more of him in the future!

Highlights of the fic for me include but are not limited too:
The "Gurner" prize and its entries
Sasuke's trial and the subsequent car chase
Sasuke's use of lists for pretty much everything
Whenever someone sends an email, as they are usually hilarious
Your mentioning of the Aquabats at the festival. I was listening to them as I started that chapter and had a little happy-dance. I love that Naruto and Kiba had MC Bat Commander masks.
I adore the Asuma/Kurenai wedding and the fallout following Sasuke's conversation with her sister
The Akatsuki Christmas and the images of Oro climbing the drain pipe to break in.

This last chapter really threw me. I was NOT expecting the car crash at all, poor bald Sasuke. It's great how throughout the whole story you've combined retardedly awesome humour, and in some cases very chilling (eg:Itachi with the gun) drama. Also, whever there is a distinctly British reference in there I get ridiculously happy. I love when I'm reading something and can pick out it's a fellow Brit writing, I don't know why but it's comforting.

I really can't wait to see what you do next with this!

Catching up with my fanfiction. Down to 23 stories alerted in my inbox, though there could be multiple chapters for each. Dx This is my final year of high school and I'm going to start applying for Universities soon, so I've had too focus much more on my schoolwork than reading my fanfiction. (Which is just plain emotionally upsetting.)

Eek! Sasuke! Sasuke's HAIR! Oh, poor baby. It will grow back, even more beautiful than before because it will be more beautiful than ever, because it will all be NEW!

Gah, that accident really blindsided me! Totally left field. And dammit, they were warning them to be careful and everything. But you'd established Fumiko's personality so well I just thought it was her being her and totally missed any and all foreshadowing there!

Love love love Fumiko and Sarutobi. They are such cool old people, and I love the interactions between them and Orochimaru and Sasuke.

And the journals they had to keep for therapy; oh man. We get a chance to get some real insight into how Orochi feels about Sasuke (and a lot of it is surprisingly sweet) and Sasuke's reflecting and introspecting more since this is all being written for someone. And their relationship does seem to be getting better for it, even if there are still tons of bumps in the road; like Sasuke's pinching (hee, how vindictive) and Orochi's dramatic over-reactions. Which of course makes me think of the argument which started it. Could not stop laughing! I kept muttering to myself, "shut up Sasuke! You! Hole! Dig! Deeper!" And of course, Orochi used to be a cokehead, which was just so well timed I nearly died. Oh man.

And Itachi is talking to Sasuke again! Squee! Or at least, they're on the road to it. Man, I hope Itachi is okay even though I know he's not.

And Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke are all cool again! Their Group Hug had me smiling like an idiot. I also smiled very silly-ly at Sasuke's little tomato patch. D'aww!

But most likely my favourite part of this was that Neji made an appearance, because I'm a filthily unashamed Neji fan and I absolutely loved him in The Dreadful Story of Sasori and the Stolen Bananas, and I was very excited to see him return in the main 'canon' which his side oneshot sprung forth from. My sister could very much so attest to how excited I was, because the moment Sasuke and Orochi went off to therapy at Konoha-Suna, I loudly announced, "I think Neji's coming up!" And then they took the elevator to the tenth floor and Neji was there and I grinned like a loon and went over to my sister to loudly explain why I was so happy.

I'll try to curb my enthusiasm though, because I don't want you thinking he was the only part of the chapter I liked (considering he was only really in one small scene), because I really did love the entire chapter. But one more thing; I can't help but notice that Futomi and Sarutobi are trying to get 21 across, seven letters, all vowels, which Neji was also trying to get in The Dreadful Story of Sasori and the Stolen Bananas (which I'm totally not just copypastaing, of course), I couldn't help but notice that.

Anywho, great great great chapter. Absolutely loved it. Hope Sasuke will be okay. I can't believe he flatlined! Oh, and since I totally forgot: Naruto's car. Is awesome. I hope he'll still drive it. It would be a shame to see the thing go.

And I'd like to add, in semi-related news, that I am once again reading Naruto and I'm pretty sure Kisame fused with Samehade is going to haunt my nightmares for a long time to come.

Well, that's certainly one way to spend a morning. I've been reading this on/off since about eight am and it's just gone two now. I don't usually read this pairing but I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. I absolutely love it! It's easy to tell you're a Brit ;) We're a rare breed around here.

Anyway, the fic- I love your characterisation, the storyline, the way it's written and, well, everything. I love your style. I'm interested to see where you're headed with this (what the hell is Madara up to, for example?) and shall be alerting. Thanks for writing this and sharing, it's been a fun morning :)

OMG! Poor Sasuke! I can't beleive he's bald... just kidding, but I still can't beleive that he almost died. For your information I read chapter 42 the day you posted it and now I've finally been able to write a coherent review. Yeah it made me that sad...

At the first of the chapter I think Oro went down the mental favorite characters ladder by quite a few rungs. But you made him shoot back up by the end of the chapter, I bet Oro appreciates it too.

Anyways I'm sad to hear that the story will be finished soon, but I guess that I can reread it when it's finished. Keep up the great work, and always remember that your reviewers are anxiously waiting for the next chapter!

Wow, you couldn't pack any more drama into a chapter if you tried! That was amazing, and I really didn't see Itachi making good on his threat, but...wow, it was powerful. Most of the rest was just hilarious (as ususal). I have flu right now so this chapter really cheered me up.

Can't wait to read the next one.

I have no idea what to say to this monster of a fic, but I felt compelled to review after spending a good week's worth of time on it.

Basically, this fic kicks ass in the most awesome way. I am ashamed to admit that I don't normally read stories outside of my OTP, but this one caught my attention and I actually haven't been really bothered by pairings at all. Everyone's amazingly in character and darkly/insanely humorous, but for an AU fic leaning dangerously on the crack side, it definitely has a lot of serious elements in it.

That said, you manage to write the relationships/interactions between everyone astonishingly well, especially for AU. Sasuke and orochimaru and itachi and naruto...the list drags on, but you manage to do everyone justice without making characters seem like they were put in just for the sake of being put in the story.

For this chapter...the counseling is absolutely hilairious (obviously) but i'm glad things have (sort of) quieted down. Except for the car crash that you stuck in there. You seem to have a talent for putting in wild plot twists (big and small) that I never see coming. Usually, I can at least guess at these things, but with this fic, all bets are off.

Um...so, I didn't mean to make this drag on so much, but...long story short (or long story long, as it turned out) I love it and can't wait for the next update!

D'ha. Aha. Ahahahahahahahahaha. A shaven Sasuke would make anyone's day~ hahahahaha~

Anyway, this chapter was phenomenal. Read it as soon as it was published, but just wanted something worthy to review with. Humour, then punched in the gut with the unexpected drama. Just the way I love it.
