OMG! Poor Sasuke! I can't beleive he's bald... just kidding, but I still can't beleive that he almost died. For your information I read chapter 42 the day you posted it and now I've finally been able to write a coherent review. Yeah it made me that sad...

At the first of the chapter I think Oro went down the mental favorite characters ladder by quite a few rungs. But you made him shoot back up by the end of the chapter, I bet Oro appreciates it too.

Anyways I'm sad to hear that the story will be finished soon, but I guess that I can reread it when it's finished. Keep up the great work, and always remember that your reviewers are anxiously waiting for the next chapter!

Wow, you couldn't pack any more drama into a chapter if you tried! That was amazing, and I really didn't see Itachi making good on his threat, but...wow, it was powerful. Most of the rest was just hilarious (as ususal). I have flu right now so this chapter really cheered me up.

Can't wait to read the next one.

I have no idea what to say to this monster of a fic, but I felt compelled to review after spending a good week's worth of time on it.

Basically, this fic kicks ass in the most awesome way. I am ashamed to admit that I don't normally read stories outside of my OTP, but this one caught my attention and I actually haven't been really bothered by pairings at all. Everyone's amazingly in character and darkly/insanely humorous, but for an AU fic leaning dangerously on the crack side, it definitely has a lot of serious elements in it.

That said, you manage to write the relationships/interactions between everyone astonishingly well, especially for AU. Sasuke and orochimaru and itachi and naruto...the list drags on, but you manage to do everyone justice without making characters seem like they were put in just for the sake of being put in the story.

For this chapter...the counseling is absolutely hilairious (obviously) but i'm glad things have (sort of) quieted down. Except for the car crash that you stuck in there. You seem to have a talent for putting in wild plot twists (big and small) that I never see coming. Usually, I can at least guess at these things, but with this fic, all bets are off.

Um...so, I didn't mean to make this drag on so much, but...long story short (or long story long, as it turned out) I love it and can't wait for the next update!

D'ha. Aha. Ahahahahahahahahaha. A shaven Sasuke would make anyone's day~ hahahahaha~

Anyway, this chapter was phenomenal. Read it as soon as it was published, but just wanted something worthy to review with. Humour, then punched in the gut with the unexpected drama. Just the way I love it.

I'm afraid I must demand you bribe, ask or commission someone with relative skill to draw Tea Fest!Orochi. It would make the world a better place. Ooh, maybe a side angle with china ink'd hair?

Last, night, I had a dream about Sasuke and Orochimaru. They were standing at a window in a very tall apartment building, watching children climb down to their window, along the walls (think spiderman). They'd all eventually lose their grip, and fall into a crowd of people below who caught them.

Orochimaru made a funny comment about this, which I don't remember.

And then I dreamt about the end of this story, and what happened after chapter 42. I just can't remember what happened :(

I read this in . . . I don't know how many days (less than a week), but it's amazing! The first SasukexOrochimaru fanfic I have ever read, and I really, honestly like it! The chapters where Orochimaru and Sasuke were trying to hurt each other was depressing, as I've honestly grown to like these people. I used to be an avid Orochumaru-disliker (not hater--he is interesting, after all), but now I like him. It's weird.

I thought I should mention this: Sasuke says he is surprised when Sasori and Deidara tell him they are contemplating quiting Akatsuku to focuse completely on art--but they tell him this twice, the first time during the period when Sasori first meets Sai (I think) and the second time at the most recent Christmas party.

Just something I noticed on my third read-through ;) :

'Jiraiya said I flat-lined while they were operating on me and the boss freaked out and ran off.'

Isn't that something the doctors would usually, ah, wait until they were sure about before they told anybody? I mean, they obviously brought him back, so...

Hello again! :D Thanks a mil! I'm alive and well once again, and back on track (mostly!) I must say, I did enjoy getting to read several chapters in a row! Love is in the air... even if it is smoothered at times! :) Yay :D

It was interesting - I totally expected a really happy chapter, cuz the previous ones haven't been so much, and I was surprised by the more serious tone. It worked very well though! It was ironic that the councelling just kinda made things worse... (loved that it was Neji!)

I enjoyed this chapter! Sasuke gardening was just cute! I never thought of him as a gardening type before, but I certainly do now! Those rutabagas... :)

I absolutely loved it when Sasuke had to deal with Orochi's dream octopus! I laughed so much! I can see him flail!

The ending totally shocked me - I did not see that coming! But it was brilliant! It's a classic plot twist. I've been waiting for something life-threatening to happen to Sasuke (Oro's had his, now it's Sasuke's turn!) :D Love it! It'll spice things up in a different way I think!

Oh! And poor Itachi! He must not be having the best of times if he wasn't answering Sasuke... Bet it's Madara's fault... :)

Crazy Oro.. I luffs it! Such an awesome chap! Poor Gay-sauce... I'm tending to agree with Violet, shorter chaps and more frequent updates would be beyond lovely! We had a large discussion of this in school the other day.
