Wow! This was rushed but intense, I’d like to see an expanded version of this story.

I’ve tried the ‘one hour one-shot’ thing with disastrous results. I’m more the, ‘one year one-shot’ type, lol.

Good introspective. Showed how Rei I going from memory less robot to her betrayal of Gendo in the move. I liked the glasses breaking. Kinda symbolic.

This took an hour god, I was expecting some Rei/Shinji but keeping it with the story and making her thoughts and feelings known like this was great as a read and an idea.

I was very impress on your detail that portray Rei in this fic. Although this is a fanfic, readers can grasp a better identity on Rei's character in Evangelion. In my mind, this fic certainly deliver in its points of describing Rei's character. Hope to see more future Evangelion fics.

Damn Fifth Horseman :)! What more can I say? Another one hour one shot. Another excellent fic. You hit Rei dead on the nail. I hope both her and Misato can give Shinji some peace when its his time. Some people say that he doesn't have a backbone, but Shinji Ikari saved many lives and touched many people and NOBODY can take that away from him. Well done my friend. Later :)!

Hm...different than what you usually write. Not quite shipping SR, but a little more than implied as well.

Deep delving into her unconscious. You've ran through her life and her interactions with the two Ikaris. Her mindset changed over time, and you've shown this wonderfully.

She seems to fear that it really will be too late and her defiance will accomplish nothing. But she's still committed and willing to rebel against Gendo.

Good work for another hour. Recommended.

I respect your decision on writing Rei; she is one of the hardest, if not the hardest character to convey especially when writing in FPOV, trying to understand, to comprehend or to fathom what it s that she is thinking is taxing because there are no markers, the story is good and well delivered, but I can't help but feel it might be a tad OOc for Rei, simply by going thru her speech pattern and realizing it doesn't match with her internal thoughts (not a huge point, so feel free to ignore it if you want to.) Other than that, like I said I can't argue with; while we are given lots f background and hints and whys on the other characters, most noticeably Shinji, Misato and Asuka, Rei is a closed book precisely because she is so open, so unapologetic and so direct. It's hard to point out what she is thinking except for a few choice scenes, not in like the manga, but that's neither here nor there. I am thinking of adding a Rei oneshot myself, coincidentally centered around the moments of 3I, so I hope it can be taken in a different direction so you can also tell me what you think.
All in all a nice, deep story, poignant and full of reasons hinted or otherwise. Nice addition to the onehour/oneshot continuum.
