I love your idea of Rangers! Admittedly, you do have a few spelling errors/typos, but other than that, it's pretty good. Keep writing!
In terms of context of the story, you've kept pretty much to the main story line, which is good, because I really don't like it when people drastically change the story around. Inerestingly enough, I'm writing an Eragon story too-it's already posted as "Light in the Midst of Darkness".
