Up until now, I hated the AU genre. You've certainly changed my mind.

Your style of writing is beautiful. Everything on these pages sing out to me. You're descriptive, yet clear at the same time, so I can easily imagine the story in my mind's eye.

You've transferred Yozak's personality into his new background wonderfully. His judgmental personality and hard resolve remain, while new, interesting qualities have been added to balance him out.

Conrad has also remained true to the series, although you've obviously had to define his personality by his current situation. Amazingly, it's all completely believable... and very, very interesting.

The characters outside of these two are surprisingly 3D as well. Ignatz has naturally become rather endearing, while Belal's short interaction with Conrad has filled me with wonder. ( Considering Conrad's confusion over him, I certainly hope he continues to be engaged in the matter. )

I don't have any large nitpicks about this story at all. Your BETA seems to have missed a few punctuation errors, and occasionally I find myself confused by the font-effects placement. Other than that, the only thing that got my brow raising was Yozak's drunken state. He seemed a little out of character, but then again, who can be in character when they're drunk?

I do hope you continue. (: I'll be looking forward to it.

This fic is amazing and the update was worth the wait. Though I'm sure no one likes to see Conrad suffer, this fic is so different that you just want to read more. Love the power play and how every chapter, you fill out a little more of the story and extend the character development...Can't wait to see what happens and how Conrad 'cooperates' whilst being quiet. Hope to read the next chapter soon. Loved it!

this story really caught my interest. at first i just overlooked it but decided to see what it was about and
i am so glad that i did. i would say poor yozak but since
he's the enemy. oh well. this story is wonderful and i am
dying to see what happen next. will conrad escape and will
yozak help him or will poor conrad end up being belal's little
boy toy. you have got to update and soon.

I have really enjoyed this story thus far, and I do hope you'll continue it. ^^ I like how realistic and in-character you've made the whole situation, that without Dan Hiri's rescue Yozak would not have lead a good life. It'd be surprising that he's still alive.

I had first read it on LJ... but then I wasn't signed in at the time, and after I did I couldn't find the entry... -_-;

And now, I shall go back to my very fangirl-y behaviour, hoping that CHARACTER DEATH does not include my two favourite half-bloods (obvious much?) in KKM.
