Amazing. I had my doubts when Danny left and then, Hawkes and Don split after so long. But I absolutely love how Danny and Don are together again and the way you bring them together. I particularly liked that Danny had to take a bus all the way to NYC from Montana, and that he kept calling Don along the way. As for the writing, you are a gifted writer and the way you string the story together makes it both compelling and interesting. I do have to admit, however, that I used to be a Don/Danny fan but am not too fond of it anymore, and have in fact fallen in love with Don/Hawkes. But this story, as well as RNA & DNA, gives me the best of both pairings. Really, a job more than well done!

that was, oh my goodness, what can i say to this chapter that will tell you how good it really, truely is.

i cried, i crossed my fingers and for once i didn't cheat and read the ending first to see how it would finish.

lets just say was on cloud nine when they got back together. if they can't be together onscreen then the next best thing is in these wonderful stories.

i love this chapter, to see danny so angst ridden, so broken and to have flack so strong, so sure of everything.

this is a dream chapter, one i will enjoy reading and rereading many, many times.

ALL HAIL THE QUEEN, of danny/flack fiction. you seriously rule.

Oh. My... There are no words. Really. This is stunning - I don't watch CSI but this is one of the most beautiful and vivid stories I've ever read. The last chapter is so sad but lovely and everything about it is just fantastic - well done!

Hi Kimmi. I'd been checking your LJ for update of this story almost everyday. Imagin my surprise to find it in FF instead. lol

Anyway, I'd like to tell you that I'm a big fan of your writing. I've read every piece or your works and love them all. And "Roses and Throns" just upgraded to be one of my favorite(along with "One Week" and "To DD Or Not To DD"). This last chapter has it all. It's lovely and sweet and heartbraking at the same time. I lost a few tears for Danny and Flack but also smiled like a loon when they finally sorted things out and got back to each other arms (where they truely belonged) again.

Keep up the good work and I'll be waiting for your next story. :)

this was such a fantastic chapter, i cannot tell you how much i enjoyed it, it was so sad it actually brought tears to my eyes. danny was so distraught and vunerable - i love that. but he was definately clear on his feelings for flack and flack for him.

they have to be together. danny without flack is a horrible thought and flack with danny is just not right.

there will be another chapter, right? they need to be together.

Just saw the anonymous review and I remember why I disabled them. Isn't it a shame that reviews like that are usually only send from users that don't have the guts to leave an identity?

I just wanted to tell you that it is taking me a long time to read each "chapter". I personally would prefer shorter ones and more updates. But probably only because it can be pretty exhausting reading such a long chapter in a foreign language. I love your story, but sometimes I need a break because it seems to be too close to real life... Well, don't delve into this much deeper.

Just wanted to let you know that I can't wait to read the next chapter and would be very happy if it would already be online tomorrow. (But I know: Writing takes its time.)
