| gorengal 2007-06-04 ch 1, | abuseFirst time I read this I teared up over Bobby's interaction with his mother. I love the last line about Dickens advising bagels with the coffee. |
| The Confused One 2007-05-11 ch 1, | abuseThis is good. Poor Bobby. Great work. :) I really liked this. |
| deliriousdancer 2007-05-09 ch 1, | abuseThis was wonderful. I could hear Bobby reading to his mother to help calm her down. Its a good thing he has a good memory. I couldnt remember a present I got when I was four years old. I really liked the texting back and forth with Eames. |
| moonstone2148 2007-05-09 ch 1, | abuseLoving the by play here - more soon? GG |
| Lactuca 2007-05-09 ch 1, | abuseThis was so great. Seriously. I loved the details of Bobby getting home and trying to wind down from hanging his coat to cutting his pear. I loved him watching the city and loving it. I loved the text messages, funny and insightful. I loved his cycling thoughts and counting sheep not working. I loved him talking his mother down and just everything. Such a brilliant little one shot! The only thing I didn't like was him calling his mother "Ma", but I think that's because in my head that is always said with a West Country accent... |
| Ruby Rosetta Red 2007-05-09 ch 1, | abuseReally enjoyed this. Very descriptive, it drew me in and kept me reading. I'll check out the poetry recommendation too! thanks for that! :) |
| Patcat 2007-05-09 ch 1, | abuseWell, I'm a sucker for Dickens and Coleridge, but this story had much more. Very well done. |
