Sorry it's taken me so bloody long to read and review! I've been busier than is necessary... (not that that's an excuse, as you posted these chapters AGES ago...)

Regardless, quick word of advice, Jack's getting a bit out of character in my opinion. Of course, everyone pushes him out of character to suit their own needs. I certainly do! (Since when does Cpt. Jack Sparrow fall in love? but it would make a very sad romance story if he didn't...)

Anyway, it just seems that if he truly feels that he needs no friends, he wouldn't be one to let on, even to someone that he cares about. And we've certainly never seen him crazed with anger... Again, in my opinion. Regardless, good chapter, I'll be on the lookout for another! :D
