First of all I must say that I don't read alot of digimon fics (especially not from the first series- though that's the one I enjoyed the most) and drabbles/shorter fics aren't normally my style; but for whatever reason I enjoyed this fic. I suppose Tai's introspection struck a chord (no pun intended) with me. And the way you tied the music analogy into the story line was really quite lovely.

Wonderful opening and closing lines. Really made an impression on me.
