Beautiful story, as usual. I love NaruSaku friendship fics, especially ones like this that look at the friendship on a deeper level. And you're right, the manga/anime really don't show their growth and developed frienship enough, which is a bit ridiculous because of all they've been through together.

Nice touch to the friendship motif as I like to call it. Like you mentioned about character growth, it was terrific. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wow. Simple narration but there's a lot of emotion between the two of them there. Not overly emotional, just the right touch. The unutered promise was a nice ending to it. This one shot is going on my favourites.
