Started this story and could not stop until I had finished it. So glad I went you your profile and saw the stories you have written. They are just wonderful. You have so much talent in bring your stories to print. I loved that Gideon left Reid on his own but was ready to run to him with help. Letting him also know that he was proud of him. I loved the relationship he formed with Colleen and her family and look forward to reading more.

Aww, I liked the ending, but I never saw Ried acting awkward romantically (which is why I love him) and sometimes I thought Gideon and Hotch were a bit OOC, but overall it was very cute. Colleen has definitely been my favorite Ried/OC girl so far :]

Finally caught up with reading this story at one sitting!Overall I enjoyed this as you have kept up at good pace to keep the reader interested with twists and turns.I think you said that this was your first posted story so you should be pleased with the overall result. There were some thoughtful insights into the dynamics of the BAU team which added to the overall quality of the work.I do have a little quibble.. in chapter 12 you had Gideon say'we're all very proud of you son' I don't think my version of Gideon would have called him son.The Reid character may be at times interpreted as a substitute son for Gideon I just do not think he would have voiced the sentiment openly especially in front of other members of the team.But this was a satisfying story that showed Reid's growth following the traumatic events of being kidnapped etc.Above all the team need to see Reid as a mature member of the team not as a kid even if he is the youngest. Reid has not had a normal upbringing and there are gaps in his social experiences but Hotch and Gideon are working on that one or at least should be!The story was good at showing Reid's confidence in his own abilities coming to the surface but keeping him still in character that is the compassionate,sensitive and in many ways a rather humble man who is still trying to come to terms with his abilities and find a comfortable place in the world.

Great ending wraps everything up nicely, while leaving room for that potential sequel.

This demands a SEQUEL! I love this story. It was fabulous! :)

Great ending, The lase interaction with Kyle and with Cory were wonderful. Reid is taking responsibility for his drug problem and he's a better person for it. I hope they will do the same thing on the show.

I eagerly await the sequel:)

Oh, a chance for Reid to play chess with someone other then Gideon. LOL I like that scene with them at Colleens house.
