I must thank you, for answering the question of just why Balthier wears those bloody shoes. It has been bothering me forever.

That aside, this was such a cute and delightful read. You captured these two extremely well -- and I just loved it.

A very amusing explaination to Balthier's footwear. I felt you captured Fran very well as she stood by the wall, and Balthier's first words to her suit him perfectly. I wish you'd given Fran more lines though, but I still enjoyed this piece very much nonetheless.

Excellent. You really bring out the characters' essnces and explain a lot of their motivations (like why Balthier wears those ...interesting sandals). Truly, a one-shot for the ages.

I loved their exchange. I think you got Balthier's personality down quite well. Fran was much harder to discern since you wrote about her in a rather passive manner, but I enjoyed this all the same.
