This is how I always pictured these two coming together: slowly and steadly, with no real "falling over a cliff moment". :) I also love the idea of him carrying her to the bed and courteously sleeping on the couch. Very gentlemanly.

And I do agree that there is inner strength to be found in oneself during troubled times, but *not* an inner-god, so to speak. That's the kind of mentality that births egomaniacal dictators and such.

In spite of that, though, I love this fic. Adding to my favorites!

I thought I had reviewed this when I read it. Apparently not. Bad me. LOL This is a wonderful little story. :) It was very in character. I enjoyed it a lot. I can see it. I love the B/A, and I thought it was really great. :D

I love the idea of Alex retreating to the roof when she needs time to think, and the rather novel idea that instead of getting lost inside her own head, she has someone there to talk to.

Loved the first person POV and thought it was pretty spot-on for Alex. I also loved the idea of her and Bobby falling in love gradually - that's so much different from what we usually see, and it was nice, esp the description of there being "no 'falling over a cliff' moment but the steps are coming naturally."

And the last line made me smile and laugh, and added just the right touch of humor to this piece.

That was a sweet story, it always amazes me that so many people have such differing views of the same characters that are all valid. The idea of working towards where they will eventually be is lovely. Thanks for the hard work...

That was lovely. Really really poignant. I like it.

Oh, I really liked that ~ it had believability ...I liked the way they were taking things slowly, repairing the little fractures in their relaionship from the events of this Season.
(The previews for tonight, however, are ominous and speculation is running rampant...I hope whatever causes Bobby's "explosion" tonight doesn't widen the gap between him and Alex. ...and then having to wait 'til September! pure torture!! LOL I love it!!)

Wow. This was great. I can totally picture this. :) It's very Alex, and I like the idea of the slow pace of their relationship. It's great. I like the idea of them rebuilding their relationship. :D God, I've hated what the writers have done to them season...

What a terrific story. It really speaks to our inner ways of resolving our issues, because sometimes there really is no one who quite understands. It's nice to find that special someone to watch over you. Just a note how do you know CI got renewed and what about USA?

USA and NBC, actually. It's weird, isn't it? Not bad but... weird. Eh, who cares. I'd watch it on the Trinity network if I had to.

I really liked this piece. A yummy little one shot. I enjoy flashbacks to major parts of Bobby and Alex's lives and Joe's death was an apt one. I thought this was a plausible depiction of Goren and Eames becoming closer. I hope they stay in the same bed and converse with their inner gods often. And if Bobby eats leftovers straight from the container, then Alex must drink milk straight from the carton. ;)
