Well done. Tonks exasperates the hell out of me much of the time, but she loves Remus and that's her reason for being. They are my favorite adult couple in the books. Great job making Remus realize exactly what their relationship is, loving and protecting each other in any situation.

Leave it to Tonks. She loves Remus and will give her life to save him. Though she'd rather just save him. It did make a better case for Snape's escape. But what's Remus going to say to the others? Hopefully we'll find out soon.

So Remus suspects Dumbledore ordered Snape to kill him for reasons to be stated at a later date. Peter is, as usual, the ultimate rat. Dirty, sleazy, not a thought that doesn't involve being protected from those who wish to see justice fulfilled. Tonks and gang, of course, jump to the only conclusion they can because they are not privy to the discussions between Albus and Remus. This is a great story.

I like it. Very interesting concept. Remus would definitely think "What would Dumbledore do?" before acting. Can't wait to see what happens.

I LOVED IT. i especially loved Hermione in the last chapter, when she was mocking Ron on his idea with the toffees. I also liked seeing Remus and Tonks interact; they're prolly my favorite ship in the HP verse. And seeing Remus with Harry is always of the good. :)

Another awesome piece from you. I especially loved Remus and Snape in chapter 2 - that was a brilliant take on their supposed actions and speech - and, of course, Remus' relationship with Tonks. It's my favorite pairing, and it'd been a very long time taht I couldn't find stories half as good as yours, sincerely.

This is the first of yours I've read that was more of an action story, and I must say I'm (as usual) impressed. There are so many nuances involved in all those characters, and I think you've got them spot on. Remus and his proof problem, Tonks and her loyalty and inventiveness to keep Remus from being an idiot again, Ron and his protectiveness for Hermione (a whole row of toffee just for her!), and all those other bits and pieces... I can see it, and understand it, but never in a million years could I have played in that playground so successfully.

Oh, and I am floating about in LJ land on occasion. I quite enjoy the events at Meta. :) Maybe sometime I could be persuaded to write for one. It'd have to be an easy one though. I'm just not a great writer. I have a problem concluding stories. Always get stuck. I think perhaps hippogriffs are eating my plot bunnies.

Aww! I really enjoyed reading this, for the Remus/Tonks moments and how he's finally stopped being a Noble Prat, and, of course, not-traitor!Severus. Goodness, but I really do love Snape nowadays. ;

Oh, how I wish you would continue this one! Obviously, so close to #7, it wouldn't be prudent to try but what an intriguing story. Of course, like everyone else, I wait with baited breath for DH to finish Harry's adventure. Now I have another reason - I hope it means more of your fantastic storytelling as well!
