Well, the party scene is not really unpleasant. Hisagi and his sleeping manners *lol*. Do not judge a book by its cover I'll say. And that's a subtle way of introducing Gin into the picture. Usually, in a long fiction (like Harry Potter), authors will drop hints of a new character in one chapter and then reveal that character in like 10 chapters later *laughs*. We have Rowling writing the name Sirius Black in Book 1 and then have him in action in Book 3. But you introduced Gin's name and character in this chapter. It's a clever decision actually; readers will remember that Gin has actually been mentioned and could read deeper into the plot without asking themselves "Did she really introduce Gin before... he didn't just jump out suddenly..."

I particularly enjoyed Rukia/Byakuya's conversation. Both are OC and ouch, an injured Byakuya. The last part where he said he wanted to go see Rukia dance was PERFECT! And is that conversation warning us about battles at Wilford? I wonder what the PEs will do there...

This chapter is engrossing. I find myself reading and reading and then I saw my name *laughs*

Hello! Long time no see indeed. It's really weird to see the 5 reviews per chapter considering your 150++ review count for "Music Box" already. Lol.

Anyway, I must say reading Music Box after one year (is it really one year?) got me lost a bit. I remember the part about Empties and Society, and about Rukia being the exterminator for Empties... no Ichigo here... aww... pretty much that. Did Ryuuken appear somewhere in the plot? Somehow I remember him...

So, the story. Not much action (as in physical action) can be seen in this chapter but it isn't boring at all. The ice cube thing is a worldwide phenomenon huh? I *hate* ice cubes down my back. And I don't really like reading party scenes because they're either not needed or empty, as in, pretty pointless to drive the plot. Or maybe because I'm not a party-goer. But I have complete confidence that your party scene will be satisfying.

Good dialogues. A chapter which is not boring at all to read. Great job!

It's nice, but i can't wait for it to get to the IchiRuki action. Cut to the chase, ok?
