Cinnamon Blossom 2007-05-14 . chapter 1Thank you for getting me out of my boring routine, I'm always happy to see a story (or chapter) alert from you, no kidding...I love your work :) It's fun, fresh and very original.
The idea of her dreaming constantly of him makes me wonder, is it true that there is a connection between dreams and our unconscious mind? As far as I know there are different kinds of dreams, the ones you satisfied your needs (meaning you lack something and you dream of it so you...well, get some x) there's also the ones you repeat the reality and the ones you "see the future". The thing is...(to make this short, even though that's kind of hard at this point)Does that connection exist? I mean, they are both dreaming of each other and that IS something important. (Do I look to crazy right now? let me know)
So, to tell the truth what I loved about this story is how Jess looked. So defeated, so frightened, scared and alone. For me, it all came down to this little question:
- “Why are you doing this to me" he finally asks, like a good boy that is thrown to the lions for no reason at all.
He always looked so tough and bad **, but he is different with her, sorry for quoting again but this made me realize he isn't such a tough guy as he seems or tries to be:
- “Alone?” she asks, and even though he knows what she is hitting as he answers.
- “Yes, alone,” he says sadly.
He is hurt just like anyone in his situation would be, be he is not afraid to show that. I used to think of him as the coldest person on earth but when they were together, he would open up just 'cause he loved her so much.
Did you notice how much I loved this? Really, I've been bored out of my mind, so thank you, thank you, thank you! =) Oh and again sorry for the crazy talk, this time I think it went too far. |
