e-clair 06 8/17/09 . chapter 1this is a very poignant and beautiful piece. I enjoyed it! |
sick-atxxheart 10/22/08 . chapter 1This was really good. I don't normally like fics that are in the first person, I'm not sure why, but this one was great. |
Atren 1/25/08 . chapter 1This is extremely beautiful, like poetry. It flows very evenly, I hope you wrte more stories from Dumbledore's veiw. It would be intersting to see what he is thinking now...from wherever he is. |
Amelia D 1/3/08 . chapter 1Lovely :) |
excessivelyperky 5/12/07 . chapter 1And of course, his belief that the Marauders had their hearts in the right places had no impact on Snape deciding to join the Death Eaters. Oh, no. Dumbledore will never blame himself for _that_, will he? And now Severus will be lucky to die in battle, consider the alternatives I believe Dumbledore forced him into. But it doesn't matter as long as the Gryffindors Albus loves are well and happy. You know, would someone know that the houses of Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff even exist if they were listening to the Headmaster? Nice stream of consciousness, from someone so totally Gryffindor he doesn't even realize the other houses exist unless he has to fight against them. |
Jenna Black 2/3/06 . chapter 1Absolutly amazing. I must apologize actually, this story has been a favorite of mine that I find myself coming back to again and again. I didn't realize I hadn't reveiwed it untill just now. Thank you for your marvelous writing; it is always a pleasure to read one of your well thought out, excelently writing, unforgettable stories. |
Rickmanlover24601 8/21/05 . chapter 1Oh goodness me. You brought tears to my eyes with the second last paragraph about Albus's hopes and dreams. It was so well written that it made me cry even without knowledge past the fifth book. Even though this was before the fifth book you put things in here that JK herself brought up in the fifth book. Perhaps you share some of JK's greatness? I wouldn't be surprised. You did a great job for a type of story you hadn't before attempted. Well done. And for goodness sakes, stop making me cry! :) Only kidding. Keep up the masterful work. |
ILoveMyDraco 7/13/05 . chapter 1 Wow... I've never read a fanfic of Dumbledore's thoughts before... That was quite interesting, and you did very well on it... So well that I can see Dumbledore actually thinking those things in the books... Hopefully it'll all come true. But that's up to Jo, isn't it? Anyways, great job... And I'll check out your Draco/Hermione story, too... **ILoveMyDraco** |
NotreDamegirlie 1/7/05 . chapter 1Ho-ly crap that was fantastic. Dammit, that was great. |
LSMunch 1/7/05 . chapter 1Very thoughtful. I love it. I'm glad someone has thought up something like this. Very wonderful. |
Filodea 6/4/04 . chapter 1I read your pregnancy story, and went to your author page. I just found this story, as well as your others. They are great, but this one is special. The poignancy of Albus' thoughts is heart-breaking. I had a tear in my eye at the end when he looked in the Mirror. May it all come to pass. I hope things go well with your pregnancy, and congratulations. |
xxxxDeletedxxxx 9/3/03 . chapter 1Hi, this was a wonderful fic. You really got inside of Dumbleore's head. I loved it, Anja |
Me 8/11/03 . chapter 1 The best I have ever read. I love everything about it, how you characterized Dumbledore, and how you showed his fondness and affections for his students, as well as his sadness in his failures. I don't compliment people I don't know unless they really are worthy of it. Actually I never review unless I love the story so much that I feel bound to. I also never feel weepy when I'm reading...how could you? You can take that as a compliment, it takes alot to make me cry over something that never happened. The leader bears the hardest role of all, except perhaps...writing his character. |
Misha 5/6/03 . chapter 1Very good. I like the vision of a happy future that Dumbeledore sees. |
