FINALLY I found a Blood Ties fic. And it was so adorable. That's real cute that they went ice skating. You did a good job building enough of a personality for Cassie so that the audience could identify her and not be bored with her. You might try mentioning the time though (as in year) since Henry is immortal. And maybe sneaking in a few descriptions about Cassie herself. Still, this was ultra adorable! Nice job!
