Um...I don't know how to say this, but...you're wrong about the color spectrum, L&L. white is a naive and seemingly foolish color, but in the spectrum, white is white because it reflects all the colors (meaning it rejects them all instead).
Black is the color that absorbs all light and color. Check our text and notes...sorry.

My other input is that black is more of a wise or serene color. Black absorbs all or has absorbed all like a wise old man that has seen the world and all it holds. But that may also work for death since only one who is close to death can understand so much...(I'm not emo...)

It's different, seeing Erik as red. I thought you'd describe him as the black. If I'm understanding your analysis correctly in white also being black, I can kinda see that. Just as black can be misunderstood so can white. Take straightjackets for example...
