It's cute! XD Rather short, though, and the climax to the kiss...well, should have been more climatic. Was Hermione blushing because of Ron? Or...thinking about him? You might have said blushing, but perhaps add some more romantic thoughts that she's thinking about him, since it's in first person for some of it.

And I don't know if you read Deathly Hallows or not, but Hermione and Ron's kids are Hugo and Rose. Don't know where those names came from, but hey, it's JK's work.

Not bad though, perhaps just more fleshing out. Happy birthday!
