I know it's been published a long time before, but I felt the need to tell you just how much I loved this first chapter (and there are more... me happy)

Very fun stuff--poor Martha with the language barrier! And testy!Doctor. Heheh. And MAGGIE!

It felt a bit meandering, but that's okay. Nice and relaxing and fun and not angsty. I really liked how the Doctor would start to say something revealing about his past and then just sort of stop so that he must have seemed completely incoherent to Martha.

Anyhoo, adding this to the Tin Dog.

Brilliant! I demand more like this. I'm sick of the only fics with Martha in them being depressing and about how much the Doctor misses Rose.

Fantastic! It's great to see a good Martha&Doctor fic, especially when they're as amazing as this.

Great story. Loved it. Especially like the bit about the Doctor having smoked a bit of weed in the past. Makes his character a bit more human in an alien way.
