...And that word is love. The shortest stories often pack the most oomph, and this is one of them. Just a vignette, but it says more than than a story ten times its length.

it was about damn TIME someone wrote about that spectacular film! and this was very well written...i LOVED it!! good job portraying joe's emotions(mecha, that is) even thought he doesnt have them, it seems as though the word he is looking for IS emotion, a sense of need to another being, companionship. am i on the right tracks??

This is a great story! So much of who we are and what we do comes from how people expect us to act. Joe interacting with David is an excellent example. Continue the good work!
