As far as I could tell, you used neither 'eldrich,' 'cyclopian' OR 'gibbering.' Otherwise, it was a very Lovecaftian story indeed.

If you make a sequal, I'd like to see:

1 Pickman as Art professor,

2 Erich Zahn as Band Director,

3 Wilbur Whateley as janitor, and

4 Wilbur's brother as head of campus security . . .

(among other things)

You captured the Lovecraft style very well, I think. And it was a lot of fun to see the names 'Kramer' and 'West' in the same sentence! Cool story. I'd love to find more FF/Lovecraft fics.

Excellent! Someone *has* written an FF/Lovecraft crossover! While I've only had time to read the first chapter, I think this story is going very well so far, and I hope to find time to finish reading it soon. Writing it from Squall's POV, like so many of Lovecraft's stories, gives it a nice touch. I look forward to reading the rest!

What with the lack of time and the length of the story, I have been unable to finish said fic at the moment, but finish it I will. Anyway it must be said that this is one of the best H.P Lovecraft stories out there. In fact I was beginning to believe I was the only one writing an H.P Lovecraft crossover! Phew, at least I know where some people's loyalties lie. Extremely good but needs more references to 'Things That Man Is Not Meant To Know'. And as you should well remember, "Ph-nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." Be Vigilant.

I like the way this is going! The conversation between Squall and the Black Man is really first-rate. It's also a good twist to have Squall on the "at-fault" end of things - the natural tendency is to make him the unequivocal hero. Looking forward to the end! (You still have to use the word "cyclopean" somewhere in there. _)
