Wow. I never thought Lina could be so... intelligent and yet... I don't know how to describe it. There's just something there. You write her well.

The thing with L-sama not knowing love... or emotions... I wouldn't have had that personally, but i liked it just the same. You have quite a mind on you, and I applaud your creativity.

That is definitely an interesting take on the creation of Xellos. I really like him. I hope he isn't too evil in your fic. He is my favorite character.

Oh. My. God. Ohmygod. I don't usually review something until I've read the last chapter posted, but in this case, I couldn't resist. This was so... so brilliant... so terrifying and amazing and horrid and wonderfully brilliant.

It kind of mirrors something in my life... the betrayal of friendship does cut deeply, but I don't think that I would have been quite as merciful as Lina... though I don't know...

Wow! I rather like this-I like how Lina insists on keeping thing on the DL, making this still fit in between NEXT and TRY w/o getting too OOC. I've never been a fan of the "Xelloss used to be human" angle in fics, but I do rather like that you went into him being 'warped' buy LoN; that's something that i don't see too many exploring, really. Greatest Lina quote in here has to be: "What would that solve? You'd still be bored, just fatter." Hee hee!

Things to consider in revision: in part 1 there are some transitions where the POV is difficult to discern. Specifically after Xelloss leaves, and the next dialogue is Amelia's "We've got to do something..." It makes it sound as if they've already caught on to Sylphiel's loopiness and so it's a little confusing. Other than that, I liked it much and I'll be looking forward to your sequels!

Whoa. That was depressing but good. You wrote this story incredibly well. Sylphiel's descent into darkness was terrifying and disturbing, and Xellos' point of view was informative and darkly intriquing. Nice job.

Awesome fic. I love how you tied everything together... the Xellos chapter and bits about Syphiel's insanity were particularly well-written. L-sama was cute :) Go Lina-Gourry forever!
